LANCIX collects and uses the following health-adjacent and wellness-related data to power its astrological and cosmic guidance features:

Birth Date & Time

What we collect: Your date of birth and time of birth

Purpose: Used to generate your Vedic birth chart (Kundali), calculate planetary positions, Dasha cycles, and provide personalised astrological readings

Storage: Stored securely in your profile on our servers. Never sold or shared with third parties

Control: You can update or delete this data by editing your profile or contacting us at lancix45@gmail.com

Wellness & Energy Inputs

What we collect: Optional inputs such as life area satisfaction scores (career, relationships, health, spirituality, finances, creativity) and mood or energy states you voluntarily enter

Purpose: Used to personalise cosmic guidance, astrocartography recommendations, and daily astrological insights

Storage: Stored securely in your profile. Not linked to any medical system or third-party health platform

Control: This data is entirely optional. You can delete it via your profile settings

Astrological Wellness Guidance

What we provide: Jyotish-based wellness insights including Ayurvedic dosha tendencies, planetary health influences, and energy cycle guidance

Important: LANCIX does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All guidance is astrological and spiritual in nature

No clinical data collected: We do not collect medical records, prescriptions, clinical diagnoses, biometric measurements, fitness tracking data, or data from any health devices or apps

Health Data Sharing

• Health and wellness data is never sold to third parties
• Health and wellness data is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics platforms
• Data may be processed by our Jyotish AI feature solely to generate your personalised in-app responses
• We do not integrate with Google Fit, Apple Health, or any third-party health platform

📍 Location Data

Purpose: Used to calculate your birth chart and provide accurate astrological readings based on your geographic location

Storage: Location data is processed for calculations and may be stored securely for your birth details

Control: You can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings

📅 Calendar Access

Purpose: Integration with your device calendar to provide cosmic timing guidance and astrological event notifications

Storage: We don't store your calendar events - we only read/write cosmic events you choose to add

Control: Calendar permission can be disabled in your device settings

💾 Storage Access

Purpose: Used for profile picture uploads and local app data storage

Storage: Images are stored securely and only used for your profile

Control: Storage permission can be managed through your device settings

📱 Device Information

Purpose: App functionality, notifications, and technical support

Storage: Device identifiers for notifications and app performance

Control: Most device permissions are required for basic app functionality

📡 Device Sensors & Motion Data

LANCIX uses on-device sensors to contextualise your cosmic guidance with your physical environment. All sensor data is anonymous in purpose — it is never used to identify you or shared with third parties.

What we collect

• Motion & Accelerometer: Device movement (still, walking, in vehicle) and acceleration values — used to detect your activity state and tailor guidance timing
• Bluetooth (proximity): Count only of nearby Bluetooth devices — used to estimate crowd density. No device identifiers, MAC addresses, or device names are stored.
• Ambient Light: Light level (lux) — used to infer indoor/outdoor context for guidance personalisation
• WiFi SSID: Name of connected WiFi network — used as an environment signal (home vs. workplace) for contextual guidance only. Never used for tracking.
• Device temperature & battery: Used solely for thermal management — sensor collection pauses automatically when the device overheats or battery is critically low

Retention & Control

• Sensor data is retained for 30 days and then deleted automatically
• All sensor data is deleted when you delete your account
• You can disable sensor collection by revoking Bluetooth and Location permissions in your device settings
